Apart from possessing a rich and powerful
voice, Sharlene is a talented songwriter and composer. She has
written five songs on her debut album, ‘Loved By The One Above’
and she and her husband, Stan Smith are the Executive Producers
of this project.

Did you Know that...
Her debut album, Loved By
The One Above was launched on February 12, 2004 in Nassau, Bahamas.
It was also launched in Columbus, Ohio and other parts of the United States during this year. This
album which is dedicated to her late Mother, Evangelist Iva Mae
Miller reveals Sharlene’s personal love for God as she uniquely
combines the awe-inspiring sounds of contemporary Gospel with
hip-hop, reggae, love ballads and traditional gospel music. It sends
a message of hope that we can live happy lives filled with the love
of God. Five of the ten (10) songs on the album are originals
written by Sharlene and Dillon McKenzie, Producer. They include:
Loved By The One Above; Give Me The Love That I Need; Come Unto Me;
Holy Is The Lamb; The Winning Side; You Care For Me; Great Is Thy
Faithfulness; For The Love Of You; Wind Beneath My Wings (Tribute to
her mom) and the Interlude, The Work I’ve Done.
